The short answer: shared credentials, separate products
ClubGG and GGPoker are not interchangeable. ClubGG's media guideline says they are not the same service. Its account Help article also names GGPoker among the GGPass apps whose existing credentials can initiate ClubGG registration. Both statements can be true: one concerns a sign-in system; the other concerns the products, rules and user journeys.
For a practical choice, start with the thing you intend to use. ClubGG's Club Games involve a particular player-managed Club or Union. The official Union documentation describes management of affiliated clubs and games. GGPoker describes its own game lobbies and formats on its product site. ClubGG also advertises separate WSOP+ memberships, so “ClubGG equals private clubs only” would be incomplete.
Side-by-side comparison
These are dated, published product descriptions—not a test of live tables, every regional client or any individual Club. Follow the row links for the evidence and limits behind each entry.
On a narrow screen, swipe within the table. With a keyboard, focus the table area and use the left and right arrow keys.
| Compare | ClubGG | GGPoker |
|---|---|---|
| What you are joining | A Club or Union space in Club Games; ClubGG separately advertises WSOP+ membership products. | An operator-run poker service with its own game lobbies and account terms. |
| Sign-in | GGPass credentials from a participating app can initiate ClubGG registration. | GGPoker is named in ClubGG's GGPass guidance; shared credentials do not complete both registrations. |
| Eligibility | Club Games and membership/prize features have different published conditions. | Availability and signup depend on the applicable regional product. |
| Devices | Official Android, iOS and Windows routes; the US Apple listing specifies M1-or-later Mac compatibility. | Official download page lists Windows, Mac, Android and iOS, subject to regional availability. |
| Documented games | Developer listing names Hold'em, Omaha, five-card Omaha and tournaments. | Official site names Hold'em, PLO, tournaments, Rush & Cash, Spin & Gold and Flip & Go. |
| Built-in records | Developer listing describes game history and statistics. | PokerCraft and Smart HUD are documented in-product tools. |
| External software | Published membership terms restrict automation; this review did not establish a tool-specific HUD rule for Club Games. | The current Security & Ecology Policy prohibits third-party HUDs and other gameplay-assistance tools while using GGPoker. |
Accounts and eligibility: what GGPass does not settle
ClubGG's Account Management—Basics says an existing login from a participating GGPass app, including GGPoker, can initiate ClubGG account registration. It does not say that every user automatically receives a complete second account, permission to join a particular Club or eligibility for every ClubGG feature. A Club's own admission decision is another step.
The same Help article distinguishes the Club section from membership and prize eligibility. ClubGG's membership terms cover WSOP+ products and their own conditions. GGPoker's terms (sections 2.10–2.11) state that an account cannot be opened from a prohibited jurisdiction and that a country missing from the signup list is ordinarily not accepted. Do not transfer an eligibility answer from one product, feature or regional site to the other; check the current official process from your actual location.
For software or account problems, contact the ClubGG team or GGPoker's official support for the product involved. A Club administrator can answer questions about that Club, but cannot establish platform-wide eligibility or change a platform rule.
Devices and formats: compare exact requirements
ClubGG's About page lists Android, iOS and Windows. Its US Apple developer listing also lists iPhone and iPad and specifies compatibility on M1-or-later Macs running macOS 12 or later. That is a bounded Apple compatibility path, not proof of a general native Mac client or tested performance on your device.
GGPoker's download page publishes Windows, Mac, Android and iOS requirements. The existence of a download is not the same as eligibility in every jurisdiction. Verify the current regional product and your device before relying on either list.
The ClubGG developer listing names Hold'em, Omaha, five-card Omaha and tournaments. The GGPoker product page lists Hold'em, PLO and tournaments along with Rush & Cash, Spin & Gold and Flip & Go. A published format is not a guarantee that the exact variant, betting structure or table is available in a particular Club, plan, lobby or location today. Check the current in-app choices rather than counting names on a marketing page.
Built-in statistics are different from outside software
ClubGG's developer listing describes game history and statistics. GGPoker documents PokerCraft for hand review and its built-in Smart HUD. These descriptions tell you what each product publishes about its own tools; they do not authorize an outside tracker on either platform.
GGPoker's Security & Ecology Policy explicitly prohibits third-party HUDs and other tools that aid gameplay decisions while using its service. ClubGG's published membership terms prohibit automated methods such as bots, scripts and macros within their stated scope. We did not establish a current, tool-specific third-party HUD rule for ClubGG Club Games from the public documents checked. Do not import GGPoker's rule into ClubGG or treat the absence of a cited rule as permission; ask official support about the exact tool.
What to check before choosing
- Name the product and feature. Is your question about Club Games, a particular Union, a WSOP+ membership or a GGPoker lobby? They are not interchangeable.
- Confirm your account path. Shared GGPass credentials can start registration, but check each product's current signup, Club-admission and eligibility steps.
- Match your device and game. Record the exact OS, Mac processor if relevant, poker variant and table format. Then check the current app or regional site.
- Check software rules separately. Built-in statistics do not make an external HUD permissible. Ask the relevant platform before using a specific tool.
- Route support correctly. Platform support handles platform accounts and software; an individual Club administrator handles only that Club's decisions.
What this comparison cannot establish
We reviewed public pages and a developer-supplied app listing. We did not register or sign in to either product, play hands, verify a Club's live configuration, test support outcomes or determine anyone's legal eligibility. “Not verified” is not a negative score and an app-store compatibility entry is not a performance test.
Neither a common credential nor a Deep Poker Club relationship makes Deep Poker a representative of ClubGG or GGPoker. This comparison contains no recommendation to bypass location rules and no claim that a platform endorses Deep's services. For a disputed identity or outside-app promise, use our verification and safety guides rather than a feature table.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are ClubGG and GGPoker the same service?
No. ClubGG's media guideline distinguishes them. They may share GGPass credentials, but each product has its own rules, eligibility and support. A common login is not a common service or a platform endorsement of Deep Poker.
Can I use my GGPoker login to join ClubGG?
ClubGG Help says credentials from participating GGPass apps, including GGPoker, can initiate ClubGG registration. That does not guarantee registration completion, Club approval, eligibility for membership features or access in your location. Follow ClubGG's current official process.
Can I use a third-party HUD in either app?
GGPoker's current Security & Ecology Policy prohibits third-party HUDs and other gameplay-assistance tools while using its service. This review did not establish an equivalent, tool-specific ClubGG Club Games rule from the public documents checked. Do not assume permission: ask the relevant platform about the exact tool before using it.
Is there a ClubGG Mac app?
The US Apple listing states that the iPad-designed ClubGG app is compatible with M1-or-later Macs on macOS 12 or later. That is not a promise of an equivalent native client on every Mac. ClubGG separately lists Windows; check current requirements for your exact device.
Does Deep Poker handle my GGPoker account or support?
This comparison does not establish any Deep Poker service for a GGPoker account. Use GGPoker's official support for its registration, eligibility, software and account questions. Deep Poker can respond about its own site and editorial content.
